It was a privilege to visit all Year 7 Character Development Groups for their CDC time at the start of the week last week and see all students so engaged with the activities related to the Theme of the Week (TOTW) and the Word of the Week (WOTW) Resilience and Meagre.
Students were discussing and thinking about their own definitions and examples of when they had demonstrated the meanings and, in one CD Group, were even trying to incorporate the two words into the same sentence.
In another CD Group student planners were being checked by the Learning Assistant assigned to the class whilst the students completed their own activities.
In all groups uniform was perfect, behaviour for learning was exemplary and it made for a great start to the BMS week!
