Year 12 Work Experience

This week the Year 12 students embarked on a very valuable weeks work experience.  Students ventured into the world of work across a variety of industries to gain skills that will be fundamental in their development.

Below are just a few of the students at their placements.

Charlie Hewitt at Oxhey Early Years – working in the main admin office / supporting children in classes and Angel De Alwis at HCC South Oxhey Day Centre – mixing and interacting with people with dementia/learning difficulties and mental health issues – participating in a range of tasks / activities.

Our students are spending the week at the INTU in the management suite,covering all aspects of the day to day running of a busy  shopping centre.Acuity a young,vibrant graphic design company have been delighted with our student’s progress.Diogo Nunes – shadowing in the Finance Office of Dolphina Gym in Watford.  Joel Feeley – shadowing at Mountsides Ltd – an accountants in Stanmore.  Anouska Barrett – shadowing at Listers Chemist in Bushey Heath.

The students have been excellent ambassadors of the school with lots of positive feedback from employers.
