Building Positive Relationships
Head of Maple House Miss Joannou led an inspiring House Assembly last week and reminded all students about the importance of developing good relationships in and out of school.
This term all students have the opportunity to take part in the House Foodbank drive and, for every item of food they bring in to donate, they receive R points. This annual House event is a great way to support those less fortunate than ourselves and build positive relationships with our local community.
She also introduced the new Student Head of House Lana in Year 13 and encouraged all students in Maple House to talk to her if they had any problems or concerns, or ideas to further improve the House System and the school.
The inspiring assembly finished with everyone watching the amazing House Arts Launch Video made by all the Heads of House; as Assistant Headteacher Ms Silla said it is now over to the students to enter and show off their talents.
With lots of reward points on offer for every entry, some brilliant prizes and the chance to go to watch the star studded show Hamilton, this is something definitely worth doing.
