Rewards Evening 2021

Our annual, prestigious, Rewards Evening was scheduled for Thursday 1st July and due to the restrictions, the event had to be celebrated virtually.  Despite not being able to meet in person, we still wanted to make sure all of our fantastic winners and their families were recognised in a special way, so a fitting video presentation was put together and sent out.  All of the winners have been commended for the amazing effort and achievements and were extremely proud to have such wonderful talent in our school.  Please click on the link below to watch the video presentation.

As a student, if you were not a winner, or as a parent / carer, if your child was not a winner on this occasion, we would still strongly encourage you to watch the video presentation and join in with celebrating the achievements of your peers.  Use this video as a springboard to inspire you to really be the very best you can be!
There are some wonderful music pieces being performed, some amazing student artwork being shown (also included in this article) and some words of wisdom from Mr Turner, our Chair of Governors and a great ex-student and Head Boy, Leon Hirsh.  All of the video messages remind us of what a wonderful school we have here at Bushey Meads and Leon’s speech in particular, highlights not only the wonderful achievements of the students, but the hard work and commitment of all of the staff in bringing out the best in those in their care.
