I was so delighted to welcome both year 4 classes from LRS this week for an opportunity to carry out a brilliant rainbow salad practical!
Students in year 4 have been learning about healthy eating and the eatwell guide. Mrs Samuels has been waiting for an opportunity to walk over to BMS to work together!
The students have also been learning about different foods in their French lessons with the BMS teacher Mrs Crepsi so when the students arrived in C11, they were able to greet me in French and tell me what vegetables we would be using!
Once we washed our hands and put on an apron, the Year 4 students were so organised and carefully used the bridge to safely cut up the vegetables precisely.
The rainbow salads looked so colourful! Amazing! Well done
