It was a really uplifting way to start the day last Thursday by attending Sycamore’s last house assembly of the year. With the theme of ‘Family’ the whole house played Family Fortunes and tried to guess how our family responded to certain questions posed by Head of House Mr Lyley in a survey last week.
It was great fun and remind us that we are all different but also quite similar and that our differences and similarities should be recognised and celebrated as we continue our journey through Bushey Meads School, learning and developing into superb adults ready to make our own fortunes – financial and otherwise in the world ahead of us.
I would like to thank all the members of Sycamore House for all their hard work and good behaviour this year and wish them well for the next few weeks as we head towards another fresh start in September.
Let’s all welcome our new members to the family – our new 7S students (currently in Year 6 but visiting BMS next month for their Year 6 Transition Day).
