On behalf of the year 10 Prince’s Trust students and staff I would like to say an enormous THANK YOU for all your donations, ticket and cake purchases and all round support. Our staff Christmas hamper and cake sale were an enormous success. We raised hundreds of pounds and were able to buy a trolley full of presents for the children on the Starfish Ward at Watford General Hospital. They wrote in their email
“We’re just getting in touch to say a massive thank you for your very kind donation to Starfish Ward over the festive period. Unfortunately we don’t have a play budget so we rely on the generosity of people like yourself to help make a difference to the children we see on the ward.”
We are also proud of our year 9 and 10 students who, as part of their community projects, made handmade Christmas cards for the elderly. They were delivered on the last day of term to Bushey House Beaumont Care Home and have appeared on their Facebook page with another thank you message. We have also had a personal thank you from a resident as she received her card and was proudly sharing it with friends and family.
Well done everyone!
