Our talented Head of Art Miss Budd facilitated outstanding progress with her Year 11 Art class last week as she guided them through a superbly planned and executed lesson which enabled them to cover some of the more challenging assessment objectives necessary to gain a really good grade at GSCE level.
She demonstrated the practical work and encouraged them to achieve highly as they prepared their artist inspired prints which they will use in the next few lessons to develop their artistic talents further.
Her tracking of their progress was exemplary and the effective feedback given to all the students certainly enabled them to make outstanding progress over time and was evidenced in some superb work in their research folders. Two students working with Miss Peacock towards their Art Award were also achieving highly.
