On Tuesday, a group of year 10 and 11 GCSE Spanish students alongside pupils from Francis Combe, Bushey Academy and Queens attended a conference led by a senior examiner from AQA. This conference gave us an insight into what we can expect during the exams, ways to revise languages and also tips to boost marks especially in the speaking and writing exams.
Upon arrival into the hall, we were handed a resource pack which included an overview of the presentation and activities to practice what we had learnt in the conference. On behalf of myself and many others, I can say that this conference was very useful and I am sure that it will help to raise our grades in the summer. After this conference I now have a greater knowledge on the structure of my exams and what to expect, in addition to some tips and tricks I can use to impress the examiners.
