Year 12 Food Science students are going to...

Jakub, Adam and Zahra have been selected to attend a three day residential Food Science course at Harper Adams university in Shropshire.

Harper Adams has offered Bushey Meads Year 12 students a free Food Science Summer School: 9th – 11th July. This is supported by the Institute of Grocery Distribution, the three day residential course will provide students with insights into career opportunities in the food industry, as well as undergraduate study including practicals, lectures and campus life.  Attendees will meet with students and employers including two visits to local food businesses.

The students will have curriculum support, food industry career routes, and Harper Adams’ course information and entry requirements. They will be taught in bespoke classroom sessions both on and off campus.

I wish all the students the best of luck and can’t wait to hear all about the course on their return.
