It was my pleasure to spend a few hours on Tuesday at Little Reddings School observing three of our year 12 childcare and education students carrying out their work placements. Students have been attending primary schools for two days a week since the beginning of October and have really benefited from being able to learn in this practical and exciting way.
I was very proud as I was able to watch how much these students had grown in confidence and ability as they supported children in lessons and led activities with small groups of children. One example of this is shown here as Eloise Evans 12W teaches a child in nursery school how to make a Christmas Wreath.
I am so impressed with what the students have achieved so far and look forward to seeing them to continue to grow into excellent Early Years Educators!
