The Year 8 students have been studying Indian traditional dance styles made famous through the Bollywood film, music and dance industry.
It was amazing to have Luxman volunteer to run a starter showing his peers a video as well as present his personal understanding and experience with the dance style, Bharatanatyam.
Bharatanatyam is an Indian classical dance form, presumably the oldest classical dance heritage of India and is regarded as the mother of many other Indian classical dance forms.
Luxman showed brilliant leadership skills and has encouraged his peers to follow in his footsteps and present their personal interests, experiences and home learning.
