It was great to see so many Year 10 English lessons taking place with students actively engaged in their learning journey. Students were being encouraged to complete DIRT (Dedicated Improvement and Reflection Time) in their purple pens, responding to the written feedback on their work. Research proves that this is the most powerful tool to aid student progress so it was lovely to see it in action in GCSE English lessons.
