It was a privilege to join our superb Year 7 cohort in their final assembly of the year and see them looking so smart and listening so attentively to their Pastoral Managers Miss Hanton and Mr Mitchell, poised and ready to start Year 8 in September. Miss Hanton and Mr Mitchell were reminding them of all the really important attributes of being an outstanding student at BMS: smartly dressed, well equipped for learning, having a positive Attitude to Learning (AtL) in all lessons and developing excellent skills for independent learning. The Year 7s have done so well this year, despite the obvious challenges and have achieved much as a cohort and also individually. We look forward to our usual prestigious End of Year Prize Giving Assemblies where we formally celebrate their outstanding achievements and to then welcoming them back to school in September as even more mature high achieving students within our inspiring learning community.
