Auditions for this year’s musical have already started and the quality of the auditions have been outstanding!
We will be holding two more rounds of auditions this week and we ask that all auditioning students attend them both. Tuesday 25th of September will be the second opportunity for students to audition for signing and acting roles. Scripts will be provided on the day so students should prepare by thinking about which character they would like to play. On Thursday 27th Miss Simes will be running a dance audition/workshop for ensemble roles. Auditions will end by 5:15, students should arrive in appropriate clothing and do not need to prepare anything.
Mr Futerill (director), Miss Brown (music director) and Miss Simes (choreographer) will be spending the week with the near impossible task of casting the show. They want to say thank you to everyone that auditioned and that if you were unlucky this time around, please remember that there are plenty of opportunities to show your talent at Bushey Meads as we will be looking to launch two drama clubs including the Bushey Mead’s Theatre Company and the Rising Stars Drama Club.
Please stay tuned for cast announcements and good luck!
