It was great to join the Willow House Assembly last Friday morning and hear Mrs Speker talk to all the students about the importance of being organised and working together to achieve great things.
The assembly took the students out of their comfort zone right from the start and then students sat on the floor – not on the usual theatre raked seating. This enabled them to easily get into their Character Development Groups to form human knots which they then had to untangle without breaking the knot!

Through this very practical and enjoyable activity it reinforced the learning point of the assembly – that in working together in an organised way you can achieve challenging things, sometimes more than if you worked on your own.
