Health and Safety is Paramount
On Monday of this week it was impressive to see the whole school community practising a fire drill – evacuating the buildings in a short space of time in an orderly fashion and standing in silence under the bright autumnal skies, as the registers were carefully taken and everyone accounted for.
I like to commend all students for their excellent behaviour and sensible attitudes demonstrated throughout the drill.
As a learning community we do take health and safety very seriously; hopefully we will never experience a real fire on the school site, but parents and carers should be reassured that all the right plans and procedures are in place.
