We all have our difficulties and challenges, however there are always others willing to step up and support in any way they can.
Last week was wear yellow day to promote awareness for Cystic Fibrosis, this is a charity close to my heart as one of my children has this condition.
I asked colleagues to join me and as usual, they didn’t let me down.
Every year we hold a charity event to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, so Billy along with Ronnie and Harry M wanted to promote the event, so here’s a little message from them…..
“BillyFest is a fundraiser organised to help support Cystic Fibrosis(Cystic Fibrosis is an inherited condition that causes sticky mucus to build up in the lungs and digestive system). BillyFest has been going on for a while now and every year we try and make as much money as we can. There will be games, stalls and activities with plenty of things to keep you occupied during your time at BillyFest.
At BillyFest there will be football matches, hosted by Mr.Harris and Mr.James .BillyFest starts at 12pm and finishes at 6pm so it gives you six hours to have as much fun as you want.
BillyFest takes place on the 1st of July and is being held at Aldenham Social Club.
We cannot wait for this special event to take place and we cannot wait to see you there!”
The understanding and empathy students have for their friends, Bushey Meads is a family community and I am proud that Billy has friends like this around to support him and his events.
