In recent weeks KS3 students have been taking part in a worldwide online competition with other schools, called Word Mania. Students had to make up as many words as they could in a time limit of only 3 minutes per round. They quickly mastered all the tricks for multiplying scores – and were keen enough to take part in practise rounds in their own time. The good news was we qualified for the final round in our region. By the end of the competition, Bushey Meads Students had constructed an impressive 23,132 words! Well done to all those who took part.
