Looking back over the past couple of months I would like to draw attention to the amazing things that Elm house students have been taking part in and doing!
7 Elm boys took part in the Year 7 inter house basketball competition and came 6th out of 7 teams. The team for 7 Elm was Shivenn, Muhika, Ishan, Eesa and Charlie.
Earlier in this academic year, Luca, Sophie M, Roma, Jessica, Imogen and Archie performed in the Christmas Gala performance. Imogen, Gideon and Natasha also took part in a trampolining competition at Immanuel College earlier this year.
It is fantastic to see so many of 7 Elm taking part in school community events! Keep it up 7 Elm! Well done!
Darius Oprea (8Elm) was part of the winning team for the Mock Trial competition that was last saturday. He has been incredibly diligent in going to the practice trials and being 100% involved.
Kellie Ashby has also been working incredibly hard and now has 413 reward points to her name. She has been top of the 8 Elm since September!
Ayyan Chaudhury has been nominated for his contribution with sorting out teams for all sports events which involve House Points. Ayyan will be the student in CDC time who will make sure that there are enough students to participate, and organise the team to ensure everyone knows where they are supposed to be. He is a pleasure to have in our CDC and captain contender for Sports Day. Thanks very much for all of your hard work.
Zuzana Pawlaczyk in 12 Elm has also been nominated. She is a constant hive of activity contributing in subjects at student Parliament as our Rep and recently in assembly for Science week. She is unfailingly kind and supportive of others – including friends, younger years and staff!
A big thankyou and well done to our members of Elm house who are proving to be amazing role models within our House group! I am sure there are many more of you who are also doing fantastic things! Keep it up Elm house!
