Superb Student Speakers!

As usual, our Full Governing Body meeting on Wednesday evening started with a quite brilliant presentation by our senior student leaders – Head Girl Amira and Deputy Head students Nathaniel and Victoria. They provided the Governors with a full update about all the major developments that have taken place at the school this academic year including some very positive feedback about the new catering contract and the impact Caterlink our new caterers are having across the school.

They explained to the Governors how the school site had been physically developed so effectively to support teaching and learning in so many different faculty areas.  They also shared their thoughts about all the different and varied student leadership groups that exist in the school and the excellent work they are doing.

Their presentation was followed by Year 8 students Vritika and Aishvini who then provided information about the superb work of the Anti Bullying Ambassadors at BMS. Governors also saw the amazing Anti Bullying Pledges on key noticeboards around the school site, reinforcing our growing culture of kindness and desire to eradicate any form of bullying in our community.

Governors were so impressed with the contribution the students are making and for many of them the presentations were the highlight of the meeting.
