STEM Challenge of the Week: ELECTRIC MOTOR
Dear students, parents and carers,
Here are two STEM Challenges for this Week.
This week’s STEM challenge involves some more Engineering magic!  Can you create your own electric motor?  This week, be more creative than the challenge and see what funky things you can make spin.  Is there anything you can do to make your object spin faster or slower.  Please send any pictures or videos to me and we can share them in next week’s article.  An R3 will be awarded to anyone that sends me a picture or video.
For the half term challenge, congratulations to Anya Ashar who made her own spaghetti bridge.  As promised, Anya receives an R3 for completing the challenge.
Bonus challenge: STRONG AS A DRINKING STRAW!
For some fun inspiration, click on the Youtube link below to see some amazingly cool things you can do with such a simplistic object as a plastic straw!
Have a great week.
