Being the Head of Sycamore House this year has been a delight. I have been so pleased to see members of sycamore house working diligently in lessons and hear about many of their successes in various areas of school life.
One notable example of success was the House Quiz. Sycamore remained strong contenders throughout, being represented by Tom (10s) and Mihir (12s) finishing up in 2nd place. As the quote goes ‘2nd place is not defeat. It is a stimulation to get better. It makes you even more determined’.
