Powerful Marking and Feedback Strategies...

Our week at Bushey Meads School started with Acting Lead Practitioner Mrs Hoskins and Acting Advanced Lead Teacher Miss Pattni being joined by Miss Dolan, one of our talented dance teachers, to showcase how they use the online google classroom platform to provide effective feedback to students.

Examples were provided on the big screen in the Main Hall from a variety of subject areas including design and technology, dance and art. Our top practitioners demonstrated a few tips to save teachers time and make progress even more meaningful for students.

The ‘Monday Magic Moment’ formed part of our termly Marking and Feedback fortnight which we are currently in the process of completing this week.

Students play their part by making sure all their books are well presented with all worksheets stuck in neatly, titles and dates underlined, all feedback stickers fully completed, spelling mistakes corrected three times, all green pen questions answered and targets responded to in purple pen.

As parents and carers do check your children’s books to ensure all of the above actions have been completed thoroughly.
