I would like to introduce the Bushey Meads Eco Leaders to you. The group is made up of students from years 7 – 10, all of whom have an interest in the environment and are passionate about making Bushey Meads a more eco-friendly school.
Quite early on in the academic year, the team met to discuss their ideas for what they would like to do this year. All members of the group brought their own ideas with them, and two strong themes emerged from these ideas.
The first was that they would like to see more recycling happening at school. The second was that they wished to promote the importance of looking after our environment to the school community.

Please look out for these tips in upcoming issues of the newsletter. If students have any ideas of tips that they would like to see included then please feel free to pass them on to a member of the Eco Leaders team.
