Going for Greatness-recruiting more...

Last month, as part of Bushey Meads’ strive towards greatness, Ms. Connell and I delivered a Monday Magic Moment to teachers on the benefits of becoming an examiner in your subject. The aim was to share how the English Faculty benefits from three colleagues who are also summer GCSE examiners. As teacher-examiners, we have been able to run several training and standardisation support sessions for the faculty in the last year; enabling us to offer invaluable insight into the skills and marking process for each of the English papers. This, in turn, has had a positive effect on the experience students have in lessons, especially as they prepare for their exams.
