Cyber Apprenticeships

22 months

£22,677 London

At MI5 and MI6, we keep the UK safe from all kinds of threats – from terrorism to cyber-attacks. On our Cyber Security Technologist Level 4 Apprenticeship, individuals will learn to protect the public from harm by managing and dealing with cyber threats.

Working alongside the world’s best cyber security professionals, and with support from their own mentor, they’ll be actively engaged in protecting our country. We’ll pay for their training, and they’ll earn a salary while they learn. They could even be offered a full-time role at the end of the apprenticeship. So, if you know someone with a real passion for tech, we’ll teach them the rest.

The apprenticeship covers:

  • Cyber Security
  • Open Source Intelligence
  • Network and Digital Communications Theory
  • Cryptography
  • IT Security
  • Penetration Testing

It’s a unique opportunity to solve problems you won’t see anywhere else

MI5 and MI6 are Equal Opportunities employers, committed to reflecting the society we protect. Our recruitment process is fair, transparent and based on merit. We particularly welcome applications from women, Black, Asian and minority ethnic candidates.
