Last Friday Mr Booth Head of Willow House and Senior IT Technician led our important Friday Faculty Focus which centred around Cyber Security. I am sure all of us have experienced an increase of Phishing type emails, attempting to fraudulently obtain sensitive information and data. As a school we take online security very seriously and are taking steps to increase awareness and develop better systems for preventing cyber attacks.
The IT Team across the Trust have recently purchased some software to up-skill staff to be able to more easily spot phishing and Mr Booth’s excellent presentation and training last Friday morning provided an opportunity to give feedback about the recent activities across the school. It was very useful.
