I am particularly proud of my Year 10’s students Ross and Sophie who have also been very busy in the kitchen cooking spring rolls and an amazing chocolate fudge cake. Angel and Thisana (with her brother Tishanth) have been making lasagna and doughnuts! Special mention to Luke in Year 11 who will be joining my Food Science and Nutrition class in Year 12 who has been cooking lots of dishes like chicken stir fries and millionaire shortbread

On another note, two of my children attend our feeder school, Hartsbourne and because I love cooking and miss teaching, I have set up a regular zoom cooking sessions with Year 4 of Hartsbourne, we have been making flapjacks, biscuits and pizza toast.
This week we baked scones and donated our bake to the ‘Bushey Bake Off’ who are collecting baked goods to send to NHS workers. I’m so proud of all of our efforts! Well done Year 4 Hartsbourne.
