English Enrichment Day 1

During the first Enrichment Day of the year, our year 11 students completed the first official part of their GCSE English language qualification: the spoken language endorsement. To be successful in the endorsement, students need to speak for 4-10 minutes on a topic of their choice, whilst also answering a range of questions from their peers. The eclectic range of topics included “Was Princess Diana Murdered?”, “Have Biopics Gone Too Far?”, “Will AI Take Over the World?”, and “Is Veganism the Way Forward?”.

In the English faculty at Bushey Meads, we are exceptionally proud of our year 11 students and they all did themselves and their teachers proud, with a significant number of the highest grades already being given for the performances.
