It is so inspiring to hear from students, and sometimes staff members, about the small, or on occasion big, Acts of Kindness they are participating in during these difficult times.
One such big Act of Kindness comes from Kyan in 7Ash.
Kyan took part in a family half-marathon to raise money for the local homelessness charity, New Hope, which is currently supporting 84 people in temporary accommodation. The family decided to run a half-marathon (21km) as a relay with Kyan running 5km. Running the distance in the area around their home (including up a very steep hill) and cheered on by their friends, family and neighbours (ensuring social distance measures were observed), the family smashed their target of £60 by raising over £600!
A huge well done to Kyan who wins the Acts of Kindness Award for this week.
