On Saturday 16th March 25 sixth form art, photography and graphics students plus three teachers embarked on an amazing trip to Paris. After arriving we headed straight out to visit the Sacre Coeur experiencing the hustle and bustle of Montmartre with its many street artists and cafes. After our evening meal we went to the Trocadero viewing platform to take photographs of the stunning Eiffel tower lit up at night.
The next day was jam packed with visits to L’Orangerie and Rodin museums, the Louvre, and finished off with a river cruise along the Seine. Day three consisted of fantastic photo opportunities at Pere Lachaise Cemetry, a visit to the Pompidou Centre and photographs at the Arc de Triomphe. We visited the wonderful sculptures and impressionist art at the Musee d’Orsay on the last day before catching the Eurostar home tired yet fulfilled!
