Promoting Perseverance
This week our inspiring and hard working Pastoral Managers have been leading the whole school assemblies and have been promoting with all students the power of perseverance. As students progress through Bushey Meads School the journey of learning is not always a smooth straight line and there are inevitable bumps and dips along the road. At times like this we need to demonstrate resilience, seek the help of those around us (parents and carers, our teachers and learning assistants, good friends, our CDCs and the Pastoral Team) to ensure that we develop the necessary determination to persevere.
Pictured here Mrs Blowers was speaking to our Year 7 cohort who have had a superb year and are poised to move onto greater things in Year 8, continuing their positive journey at our school. As always we can take this opportunity of moving onto to a new year in school to build on our success and also learn from any mistakes we have made to ensure the positive journey continues as we persevere to achieve our dreams for the future.
The Pastoral Team are definitely here to help you on that journey!
