It was great to see our hard working and creative Year 10 students engage so well throughout the day last Thursday as they followed a great programme of study based around the Holocaust. Activities in the morning, overseen by Head of History Mr Lyley, were followed by an afternoon of creative art and drama workshops based around Holocaust memorial poetry.
The day culminated in a powerful assembly in the main hall bringing together and showcasing the students’ work. Engagement was high, students enjoyed the chance to do some different activities and learned much through the varied sessions on offer.
