Year 9 Shining Star

Last weekend one of our Year 9 students raised a significant amount of money for Cancer Research by completing a gruelling marathon walk around London’s streets.

The overnight Shine Marathon took place in the torrential downpours we all experienced from the comfort of our beds on Saturday night but it didn’t deter Khaden.

Starting at 7.45 pm, it took him just over 10 hours to complete the 26.2 mile route.
We are very proud of his determination, resilience and huge mental strength to finish the challenge, despite being soaked and cold. Well done for raising the £300 for such a good cause.
