Year 9 Options Evening

On Wednesday 22nd March, on the back of a successful enrichment day where Year 9 students had the opportunity to trial a range of KS4 option subjects, we held the Year 9 Options Evening. Ms Greenwood, Assistant Headteacher, led two informative talks in the main hall with Mrs Blowers, Pastoral Manager, and Mrs Smith, Work Related Learning, also giving advice and guidance.

Parents, carers and students then had the opportunity to visit the different subject areas to discuss with teachers and students the broad range of subjects on offer.
It was a busy evening with a lovely buzz of anticipation as the Year 9 students started to explore their possible choices for the next two years.
The students now need to select their option preferences and submit by Wednesday 19 April.
