It was a real pleasure to see the year 7 students working so well in their D&T lessons this week. Throughout the year the students will have the opportunity to experience food, electronics, textiles and 3D design.
The purpose of D&T is to develop students knowledge and skills in such a way that they become thoughtful and informed when designing and making, as well as making ethical decisions that are positive contributions to our wider society.
There are also clubs and competitions that run at lunchtimes and after school, so if you have an interest or passion, check out the extra curricular timetable on the school website.
We hope all the students have an enjoyable learning experience this year and beyond!
