The Importance of Communication

This week, Maple House had an assembly and theme of the week activity based on the importance of communication.

Communication comes in many forms, but it is important to know how to communicate effectively. Communication is something that helps us in school, and beyond our school lives which is why it is so important to understand the values that it has.

During their theme of the week, students played a game of Charades to experiment with non verbal communication. They have also started to make some incredible posters and poems about communication – I will be choosing my favourite ones at the end of next week!

We also launched our House Arts event with the theme of Equality and Diversity. We look forward to seeing the amazing work that our students come up with across the six different categories: art, photography, poetry, dance, drama and music.
