The Exciting Journey at BMS Continues!

One of the key documents in the journey of improvement in any excellent school is the School Improvement Plan or SIP. Ideally the document is shaped and owned by all stakeholders and then provides a clear framework to work towards over three years and aims to move the organisation to the next level. The Whole School SIP is complemented by Faculty Improvement Plans or FIPs which also support the clear direction of travel across all areas of school life.

Last Wednesday all staff engaged in an Ideas Generating Session to support the writing of our new SIP 2020.23. It was a powerful Moment in Time for us all to pause and think about ‘where we are at’ and ‘where we want to go.’
We were joined by 30 Student Leaders and a number of key governors and Trustees including Di Hoeksma our hard working Chair of Governors and Sam Russell our Chair of the Trust. Some of the ideas were excellent and if we can continue working hard to achieve them our school will be truly outstanding in three years time – exciting!!
