There are many smart strategies to encourage students to make great progress. One such strategy that encourages discussion and sharing of ideas is the simple but effective Think-Pair-Share strategy used effectively in Mrs Kinghorn’s Year 11 Business Studies lesson.

Students were encouraged to work alone to develop their independent learning, work in pairs to encourage debate about their thinking and then were sharing their answers across the class to develop understanding and learning across the classroom.
