Year 7 Technology Lessons

It was great to see David in Design and Technology appointed as a Student Expert and Helper in the lesson on Tuesday of this week.

His fellow students were making moisture sensors, creating electrical circuits and soldering the components carefully together to ensure they worked effectively with an LED light to indicate the presence of moisture.

He was modelling the correct soldering techniques, advising his peers on the best way of creating their circuits and being a great help to the adults in the room – enabling all students to make good progress and succeed.

Students were following the strict health and safety regulations and had taken their ties off to complete the hot soldering tasks.
