Student Leadership 2021-22…

On Tuesday 14th September, a special assembly was delivered by our new Student Leadership Coordinator, Mr Burley. Over 150 students attended after having applied for and been accepted for certain student leadership roles.

Mr Burley impressed on the students what leadership meant and how each and every one of the student leaders played a very important and impactful role in supporting our school be the best it can be for everyone.
Our new Head Boy, Bhuvan, and Head Girl, Isabel shared some words of wisdom and encouragement as they congratulated and welcomed all of the new student leadership body.
Students were called out to come and receive their special student leadership badges from our senior student leadership team. They will wear these badges with pride and were reminded that with this badge came the responsibility of being the best role models for other students around the school.
In the coming weeks, more and more news of the achievements of our student leaders will be shared and communicated. The impact of this group has already been felt with Prefects supporting at the Year 7 Settling in Evening and so many student leaders representing the school as great ambassadors at our school Open Evening.
Congratulations to all of our student leaders. The Bushey Meads community is excited to see you all in action and enjoy the benefits of all the wonderful work that you will do in your new roles
