Bringing Science Alive

Mr Thornton’s first lesson on Monday morning saw a great start to the week for some of our keen Year 10 scientists. They were comparing sexual and asexual reproduction and identifying the benefits of each. The level of questioning and discussion reflected the interest and desire to achieve.

All the students enjoyed completing a variety of tasks and activities and really appreciated the planning that went into the well crafted lesson.

The ‘Beat the Teacher’ plenary resulted in all students gaining an R1, as well as clearly demonstrating the learning that had taken place.
