Inspiring Associate Leader Lauren Wright started the week with an extremely positive Monday Magic Moment that she delivered in Staff Briefing, outlining all the wonderful things that staff and students are doing to support our More Able agenda through this week’s ‘Flair Week’.
In every classroom across the school there is an ‘Up for the Challenge‘ noticeboard. These resources are often very interactive, encouraging students to access stretch and challenge activities in lessons to ensure their progress is maximised. The boards and activities also often develop the more independent based learning skills in students.
Across the school many students are also delivering this week’s Theme of the Week activities in Character Development Time. This is encouraging their presentation skills and enabling them to provide their own thoughts related to the theme of the week Motivation.
We look forward to seeing the impact of the week and celebrating more and more of our students demonstrating flair in their learning, hopefully many of them will also be awarded a prestigious Flair Certificate pictured below.
