Kindness Theme of the Week
Last week the Theme of the Week was the theme of Kindness – linked to our whole school matra ‘Our School has a Mind to be Kind’.
It also linked to the National Anti-Bullying Week agenda which had the theme of ‘Choose Respect’ this year, aligning to our school rules of Respect, Responsibility and Relationships.
The pastoral team delivered assemblies on the theme, raising the importance of Kindness towards each other, following the 3 R’s and taking amount to THINK before speaking or texting.
The students were reminded about all the methods they can use to report a bullying concern and who the school safeguarding leads are who can also provide support:
