Marking its 22nd anniversary, the Mental Health Foundation aimed to raise awareness of the impact of ‘loneliness’ on our mental health and the practical steps we can take to address it.
This year ‘Mental Health Awareness Week’ launched across the country between the 9th-15th of May. To get prepared, students and staff at Bushey Meads had opportunities to come together and suggest ways we can tackle the theme of ‘Loneliness’ for the upcoming week.
Guest Speaker from Mind- – Speaking to the Yr11s about how they can get involved during mental health week.
At Bushey Meads we are very proud of the inclusive, friendly and positive environment we provide both students and staff. With this in mind we managed to put together a diverse programme with a range of activities across the week during break times, lunchtimes and afterschool to promote inclusivism, togetherness and tackle loneliness!
