Knowledge is Power!
It was a privilege to join the Year 8 assembly led by Assistant Pastoral Manager Mr Annan-Forson on Wednesday of this week and be reminded about the importance of knowledge in all its forms.
He encouraged all the students to reflect back over the last half term and learn from what had gone well and what could be improved. He also asked them to consider the importance of self-knowledge and reflect on how well they know their own gifts and talents and whether they demonstrate a good character to those around them.
Above all he reminded them to be the best of themselves, always Aspire to Achieve and show at all times A Mind to be Kind.

Having listened to the assembly the following Year 8 students commented about what they took away from what Mr Annan-Forson said:
Freya in 8 Beech said that “It is important to be yourself and not worry about what other people think about you.”

William in 8 Willow said that “It is important to always be kind.”
Josefina in 8 Maple said that “You should always try and express your talents.”
Tia in 8 Sycamore said that “Everyone has a gift.”
