Stand Up! Education Against Discrimination
Today the students had a special assembly from Stand Up To Education.
The Year 7 & 8 Assemblies focused on Anti Bullying. Talking through the different types of bullying, looking at different types of online and in person scenarios and how to handle and address them.
Year 9 & 10 had an Anti Discrimination workshop looking at types of discrimination, myths and stereotypes and how we can celebrate diversity together.
Both sessions talked about the Equalities Act looking at the 9 categories of identity that are protected.
