Supporting EAL Students

One of our outstanding Advanced Lead Teachers Mr Johnson led the Friday Faculty Focus last week and shared some superb resources with all staff that will support excellent progress with our students who have English as an additional language. As a school we are very proud of our rich and diverse community and celebrate the fact that a good number of our students can speak and write fluently in more than one language – often transferring their admirable achievements in language to all areas of the curriculum here at BMS. The resources being signposted last week will definitely help in enabling students to maximise their progress and achievement.
