So many immensely dedicated staff at Bushey Meads continue to go the extra mile for all the students in their care. With another 65 students attending our Study Saturday last week between 10.00 am and 2.0 pm a huge thank you needs to go to our inspirational Learning Resource Centre Mr Back. The LRC – recognised as a ‘hub of the school’ in our recent Ofsted inspection is made available to all Year 11 and 13 students currently in the middle of their revision and public examinations. They really do appreciate all the strategies and additional sessions on offer across our school curriculum and are very grateful for all the support the staff at BMS are giving them at this crucial time. Going the extra mile like this is certainly not the norm in most schools and I extend my thanks along with theirs to all my hard working colleagues who really do put students first in all they do.
